Executive chef Jeffrey “Cheffrey” Wilson brings an accomplished background and diverse culinary interests to his menu at Americana. A native of the south, Wilson trained at the renowned Culinary Institute of America and upon graduation moved to New York City to pursue his career. Working in such culinary hot spots as the ’21? Club, Battery Gardens, and as executive chef at Gramercy 24 (thus he was exposed to the diverse gastronomical delights the city had to offer), Wilson developed a unique sensibility from his influences. After ten years of working in the fast pace of New York, Wilson and his wife decided to move to Seattle in order to enjoy a different pace of life. He was hired on to develop the menu at Table 219 and became a partner shortly after. Four years later he is now sole owner and has made the restaurant his own with menu enhancements, a remodel and name change. Wilson looks forward to the future of Americana with excitement about the menu and the energy from the surrounding community.
